Why cannabis and skin?

Clinical evidence is mounting for the efficacy of cannabis in topical preparations. Studied applications range from wound healing and acne to muscle and joint pain. We see gaps in the markets and problems with quality, consistency and effectiveness and aim to change this!

CBD vs THC for topical use

When choosing a cannabis product for your skin the first thing to consider is, what are you treating? We break our products down in to simple categories to help you match your concern with our solution.

CBD is a superstar when it comes to reducing inflammation and this is the cornerstone to all ‘inflammatory’ dermatological conditions from acne to eczema.

THC however, appears to excel at topical pain relief, this benefit is enhanced even more so when applied in combination with CBD.

How do I tell if what I am using is legal or not?

Distinguishing quality, regulated product apart from the grey market imposters is different in every region. In Canada, legal products must be manufactured in a health Canada licensed facility, check out ours Cicatrix Labs

When buying any cannabis topical look for the following features which are mandatory in all regulated markets; child proof packaging, clearly labelled package size, clearly labelled ingredients and mg per ml or total mg per container of each cannabinoid present.
